Interpretation Development

I can work with existing interpretation plans and strategies to develop content for your project. This can include:

scriptwriting for audio/video activities;
researching subjects, content writing, and sourcing visual assets;
liaison with designers and manufacturers;
design guidance and feedback.

Briefs, Plans & Strategies

Using key organisational documents such as Management Plans and Communications Strategies, I can work with you to develop an Interpretation Strategy for your organisation, taking your key priorities, audiences and KPIs, and setting out a clear plan for how these can be delivered through your interpretation.

For project-specific work, I can produce an Interpretation Plan that will set out key engagement opportunities on a site, suggested interventions and activities, themes, stories and messages, and manufacture and cost details.

I can also produce a Design Brief for use with suppliers, pulling together all written and visual assets, and providing clear design instructions for a particular intervention or suite of interventions.

Nature Illustration

I specialise in realistic interpretations of wildlife and can create bespoke illustrations for use on interpretation, publications, and websites.

Whether you're looking to illustrate the life-cycle of a butterfly, show species to look out for in a certain habitat, or to create a wildlife spotting guide, I can help!
